Unit 44 Jamboree Photo Collection

INSTRUCTIONS AND THUMBNAILS FOR UNIT 44 & 45 ONLY WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY

To get the best out of your photos, please also share them in one of these ways. Lee will collate and include in galleries you can access, view, download and share. It will also double as an extra online backup and help people with presentations, slideshows etc.

Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram are great for sharing with friends and family but will compress images and video which reduces the quality. When you’re using the below, also consider sending copies to yourself on your computer so that you can create your own copies on a computer and online as a backup.

Please only share the photos you are comfortable sharing and that other people will be happy to see (including the people in the photo). If you require anything deleting at any time, contact me.

For any file sending, use the email address [email protected]

Google Photos - Share photos and videos - Android - Google Photos Help

Google Photos has Android, iOS and Desktop versions. Don’t set it to backup your own photos just yet, but do enable access to photos. Click on Library and add a Folder for each Album you want to share. Add Photos. Once you’re done, click the ‘Share’ and Invite People; [email protected]

Download - Google Drive

Google Drive is free and easy to use. You will need to Create a Folder for WSJ23 in Google Drive, then create separate folders for each of your albums.

The ‘Upload’ Photos and Videos within each folder.

Once you are complete uploading, go to the main folder, click the … dots and ‘Share’

Dropbox Mobile App

You can use Dropbox Basic to share images for free (2GB of files). Don’t sign up for the free trial or other options. It is best to share one folder / album at a time.

WeTransfer

WeTransfer is free to use to send up to 2gb of files (at a time). Again there are mobile apps and you can share a folder / album at a time.

The above Apps / Services also have desktop versions. It is possible to download your images to your computer (great as you have another backup then) and then it might be easier to send folders using the desktop versions in the same way.

How to use Shared Albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad and Mac – Apple Support (UK)

iCloud also allows Shared Albums – I haven’t tested this yet but if you’re struggling with the above, or want a way to just share with family. You can test this with a couple of images. If you are sharing with me, please use [email protected]
